Textured harmonies, chaotic cacophonies, melody, and polyrhythms make up some of the soul of this record but in it you will find more than that, you will encounter an immersive experience and an affective force. Ethereal vocals, granulated sounds, slowed down samples, reversed looping, found sounds, and field recordings tell a story of Luminina, a mysterious yet familiar sonic world.

This album is the product of an intense artistic collaboration between Commander Goznales and Craig Maupin of Luminarcanum Records during the last two years. The exchange began over a year ago and the lockdowns allowed us to connect and exchange ideas with the patience and time that normal life sometimes lacks. Craig brought his multiinstrumentalism to the ensemble and mastered the album incredibly to bring out all of its charm and sonic nuances. We are excited to share this with you!

This album was created over the last 2 years with the use of granular and analog synthesizers, effects pedals, samplers, modular synthesizers, guitars, congas, bongos, drums, percussive instruments, microphones, algorithmic instruments, human and digital vocals, wave tables, and probably much more!
